The kids always have fun using quizizz, so we can combine digitalization with gamification with the students at the primary school.

Kahoot, a funny web tool

 Kahoot is a funny and interesting web 2.0 tool that kids love it. So we often use it for our tests in our class.

Izmir, 5th mobility

 During this mobility in Izmir, we were invited by the Directorate of Izmir. They welcome us in Izmir and we visited three schools in Izmir, primary and secondary schools, to see the use of the digital tools in their paedagogical procedure. As we saw, they used kahoot, quizziz, and abe in their classes. Some of them we usually used during the pandemic period and we are continuing to use them.

Digital literacy

 On the 24th and 25th of June 2022, the 1st digital literacy session was held under the auspices of the Attica region. Ms. Margarita Dakoronia coordinator of the Erasmus project of 32nd Primary School of Piraeus-Greece presented how the pedagogical team of the Erasmus project has managed to improve pupils' literacy.

The pupils of the 6th grade showed our partners the way to create comics with the canvas tool and they also showed how we can create a video with the green screen technique.

 At the 2nd workshop, we went to the Niarchos Foundation and the pupils of the 4th Grade showed our partners the way to create comics with makebeliefs and storyboard that web 2.0 tools.

 During the 1st workshop, the 3rd grade with our partners produced the following digital materials. The topic of all the materials was the myth about the name of Athens.

3rd: Video with stop motion technique  

 Kids from 3rd grade showed us the way.

The birth of writing, Evgenidio Foudation Library, 6th of June 2022

 On the first day of the 2nd ltt mobility, the partners participated in a workshop at the Evgenidios Foundation Library about the birth of writing, from the caves to the digital way of writing.

       In the evening parents of our students and partners watched the welcome ceremony.

1st workshop, 6th of June 2022

 The 3rd grade of our students has prepared the digital tools for the 1st workshop. In the beginning, the kids showed the myths of Poseidon and Athina and how the city of Athens got its name.

And then our partners became Poseidon- Athina and Kekrops to show us the myths.

And at the end, the kids of 3rd grade were separated into three groups. Each of these groups showed our partners the following digital literacy tools.

The 1st group, how we can make a movie from pictures or videos with video creator windows 10.

                    The 2nd group,  how we can create an ebook in storyjumber.

                  The 3rd group, how we can create a movie with stop motion technique.

Dissemination in 1st digital literacy symposium in Greece

 Margarita Dakoronia participated as a speaker at the 1st digital literacy symposium in Greece. She described the way that the students of her school, 32nd Primary School of Piraeus, have trained in several web 2.0 tools. She also presented the tasks of The Power of Digischools Erasmus project.

DISSEMINATION OF ERASMUS PROJECT

 As part of the dissemination of the Erasmus+ project, an online meeting of teachers from Piraeus, Zakynthos, and Astypalea was held on the 20th of May 2022. The coordinator of the projects, Margarita Dakoronia, informed the teachers about the program and its goals of this. The education coordinator of Piraeus,  Mrs. Katsigianni, supporting our actions, helped to call the teachers of Piraeus.
